Old Comforter Made into New Quilt

This is a quilt I made for my grandson, Sidney.

I cut strips and squares of fabric.









Pieced them into 8 x8 inch squares.

Then, laid out the design.











Added border strips to complete the top of the quilt.










I took his old Sponge Bob comforter that had seen better days and used it as the batting.

Then quilted the three layers
